Our Welcome
No, don't hit the "back" button. You have indeed reached ONReady's web site - and, as you can tell we
have changed a few things. Take a look, we hope you'll like it and find the site useful.
Our new web site is much more than just a new look, it's a new attitude. It's based on the proposition
that we are better together than alone. That through collaboration, we can grow beyond our potential.
In this way, the web site truly reflects what ONReady is all about.
You'll find a wealth of information - a constant feed of new project demos, new customer reviews,
affiliate links, and much more from both ONReady and the Web at large. But best of all, you'll discover
an increased emphasis on interactivity. Since ONReady is, at its core, based on interaction between us
and our users, we thought it would be great if our Web site helped facilitate this collaboration. One
such feature is our Live NetCam Feed. There, amoung a live feed from the programmer, you'll see it all
from the data center to the desktop, you'll find links to a place to connect. Now, that's interaction!
Speaking of new attitudes, we're geared up for our projects. With all the tools, and it is amazing. If
you need to know more before you start, sign up, and go to our profile page, where you'll find more
information and options to invite us to bid.
There's one other useful feature I forgot to mention earlier. It's called the Private Message Board.
That's where you can tell us what you think, not only about the project, but about any ONReady-related
matter that's on your mind. I hope you'll use it. Remember, the "Ready" in ONReady may stand for
"project is ready", but it also stands for "your ready". And that's what we want.
Ready to Start?
Invite us to bid on your project and get competitive pricing and proposals within hours.
Project Guidelines
Both parties involved in a project (the webmaster and the programmer) are asked to follow these
guidelines to assure the successful completion of a project without any problems. If you don't you do
so at your own risk.
Webmaster
Detailed Project Description
Your project description should be as detailed as possible. It's better to have too much information
than too little. Some people choose to summarize the project in the description and attach a file
with more detailed information. Which is a good idea.
Additional Features
If you have additional features you would like in your script, which you did not mention in the project
description, please tell the programmer BEFORE they begin work.
Request Demo
Before you pay for the script, you should ask the programmer to setup a demo (on their server) to make
sure it functions as you requested. Once the programmer sends you the script it could be too late to
cancel the project, and you will be expected to pay for their service.
Programmers
Know The Project
You should know how you will create the script before you connect online. If you need more details, post
on the message board for that project, request more information from the webmaster. If you don't, at
least make sure you are clear about the project before you begin working on it.
Updates
You might consider updating the webmaster on your progress throughout your work, especially if it's a
long project. This will assure that there is no confusion over how the script is suppose to be when
you finish it.
Provide Demo
Before sending the script to the webmaster, you should setup a demo (on your server) so that they can
confirm it is what they wanted done. You are almost guaranteed satisfaction if you do this, because the
webmaster can see the script working before they receive it and pay.
Payment Method
Before the work begins, you should discuss with the webmaster how you want them to send your payment
later on.
Live NetCam Feed
If you want to grab live pictures from the data center to the desktop, to include in your scripts,
connect using the URL below. This prints out the words "Live NetCam", a thumb nail image of the latest
picture including a watermark, and a line indicating the duration since last upload. If you want to
display the Live NetCam feed on your website, copy and paste the following javascript tag onto your
pages:
| <script type="text/javascript"
src="http://www.onready.com/live.php"></script>
